On topic of the test world, running it 2010 years led it to ending on an interesting scenario:

One of the last major holdings in the world is a kappa fortress-city (you heard that right: an entire city mostly walled in, with an additional set of walls for the keep) being assaulted by all of the Factory's forces, who had captured all surrounding towns but the capital itself. Making my first character, I wandered into a scene including dozens of bakebake harrasing the last few survivors from above, while rogue robots roamed the ruins killing everything on sight in a bloody pile.

Moving onto the first town, a group of bakebake and biokuri, being led by a human sergeant were attempting to fend off a pair of night creatures who quickly overwhelmed them and quite literally tore the majority of them into many pieces. They then overran my kappa defender and ended up mangling him to death.

Second try, I make a crossbow-kappa to actually combat the threat actively assaulting the town. Even though the bakebake were practically a non-threat, with their feeble attacks deflecting off her clothing, and died after a direct hit to their bodies, they were so numerous that she actually ran out of bolts before they all fell; nevertheless, the main horde seemed to had been routed as they ran away in fear. It was there that I did not notice a hopper sneaking behind and hastily clamping her head off; as a side note, I think I'm going to give kappa some sort of optical camoflauge as a special ability.

Third adventurer was a robot maid; this time starting in the dark fortress the Human Village had been forced to retreat into after the various monsters released by their Outside counterparts made most areas unlivable; things were mostly deathly silent as I wandered through towns that I at first thought were abandoned until I saw that the houses all flashed white: turns out synth rebels took over the Human Village and were using it as a factory for more deadly robots.
