Depends on how high the difficulty. Once you hit 5, you have to rely almost completely on percentage based attacks, assasinations, AP manipulation, and manipulating the battle rating to win past about turn 20.

You win by battle rating, by using only strong units, % based attacks, and using abilities that prevent the enemy from being able to attack.

This is the kind of thing you'll be up against on 5-star. If that makes you wet yourself, you're nowhere near ready for it.
