If Remilia's ability is the manipulation of fate then that implies that fate actually exists in the touhouverse, so many events are predetermined and Remilia has some sort of control over it.
Doesn't this more of less make her the only character with a true free will?
Everyone else is bound by the laws of fate, if it's your fate to be at Reimu's shrine on a certain day you will unconsciously choose to perform actions that will make you end up there, Remilia would be the only one not bound by these laws.
