/jp/ - Otaku Culture

Anyone else has nostalgia for the NEET culture of the 2000s and to a lesser extent most of the 2010s? I miss when every anime forum/chatroom and every imageboard was like half NEET or more and discussion of NEETdom was largely neutral or positive with any negativity mainly being focused on other people's reactions or the inevitability of having to work eventually for some. NEET threads used to be supremely comfy. Now it just kind of seems like the only thing that gets discussed on NEET threads/imageboards/forums is

The occasional /jp/ thread and certain other imageboards are usually alright but it honestly feels like NEET communities are getting raided by the incel community and failed normies. Just the constant screaming despair into the void and freakish obsession with sex.
