Fun fact, succubi were rather unique among monsters in the previous era in that they did confine human men and keep them alive for as long as possible. These "prisons" were for the sake of feeding, since unlike other monsters succubi didn't crave human flesh and thus (if they controlled themselves from sucking out too much energy) could keep men as a renewable resource. This required succubi to learn how to care for human needs, which was helpful once Lilith came to power and monsters in general needed to be educated on what humans needed.

The freed prisoners became succubus husbands and would prove instrumental as well in educating monsters on how to build normal homes and other such things.

Have you read Succubus notebook? Vanilla succubi have a lot going for them. Their sexual abilities are actually still quite high among monsters, hence one reason they are considered high rank despite many of them not actually being high rank in power.

They also have quite a bit of interesting culture and history to them.

Some of KC's designs can be a bit frustrating to figure out, especially with his love for giving them clothing that looks like part of their body, or making parts of their body look like clothing. The patreon/enty making of articles tend to clarify things, but they don't exist for all the girls.

And of course, for most of the girls we don't know just what they would look like from angles other than what they are drawn with. It'd be nice if we had this KC succubus diagram for more of them.

We have no mention yet of any spell that imitates the abilities of a manticore's tail, but I wouldn't be surprised if KC eventually revealed one.

Succubus Family Demon Type

Currently, due to the fact that the mamono lord's power is shared with them, all of the monsters are endowed with the nature of a succubus*, but since the succubi are exactly succubi* themselves, and have required human men to sustain themselves and reproduce since the ancient era, it can be said that they are the race who possesses that power most strongly.
