So wait, they've built a whole new engine? Why? As I understand, the problem with FFIV wasn't with a bad graphics engine- it was an unpolished content-free title that launched a year before it should have. There's no reason that I can see why they would waste months on reinventing the wheel instead of piling fixes onto what the game that already exists.
