There is a point, Zounose seems to be one of those few artists that try to get you to think about something else after reading his stories. If you can't see that then there's no helping you.
I notice that a of his older doujins revolve around sacrificing something for something else.
Can you harm your friends to gamble at a chance to save theme from something much more terrible down the road?
Are you willing to throw away your humanity to become what you were destined to be?
Is survival worthy if it is just to lead a pathetic, disgraceful existence?
If you knew what doujins I'm talking about I don't know why you would even hold that thought, since you would have realized that there is a point. With a darker setting, there's more weight to the consequences that are presented by these dilemmas.
