I live in Canada, just a short distance and a mountain range away from the tundra. This is supposed to be temperate, fertile land but the growing season has been short the last couple years, and the game is starting to dry up. I spent a month in the bush recently without even seeing signs of deer. Better hunters from my tribe have been coming home empty-handed this year too.

Now would be a great time for some ice queen intervention.
