For a while, I had a bit of a thing for the anime Mashiro Iro Symphony: The Color of Lovers.
I knew it wasn't of the best quality for an anime, and I understood 100% why a lot of people didn't like it, but for whatever reason I always liked it.

However, I downloaded the VN about a week ago and just finished it today. My kanji is a little lacking so I really only picked up on about 50% of what they said, however, I will say this:
it COMPLETELY blew the anime out of the water. It made me completely understand why people didn't like it and why I'm beginning to like it less now.

I really don't like how they completely destroyed EVERY character in the anime, even Miu Amaha (which is bullshit since the anime is mostly based off of her route.)

They made Sakuno Uryuu almost nonexistent in the anime, and barely included any of Angelina Sewell's route as well. Miu Amaha and Airi Sena were given a bit of attention but not nearly as much as they deserved.


So I have a couple questions for you at /jp/

1. I'm guessing that since the PSP game is rated E for everyone, there's no hentai in it? Hopefully the rating that I see on English websites is wrong because, since Sana Inui got no route in the PC game, it'd be kinda bogus to give her a non-hentai route in the PSP game.
Someone who knows please correct me if there is hentai in the PSP game, it'd help a lot.

2. If there is no hentai in the PSP game, I'll probably never play it. That being said, does that mean I'm completely done with Mashiro Iro Symphony? Is there any other games out there?

3. Have you played the VN? If so, how did you like it, and how did you feel about it in comparison to the anime?

Hi guys, I made this thread yesterday but I never received any answers (to either of my questions) so I'm gonna re-post it.

(Pic related) If someone suggested an anime series to you that was so good, that you had trouble getting it off your mind, and got so heartbroken by the fact that it was over and would never receive ANY 2nd season or spinoff (besides one eroge of a girl you didn't even like being chosen,) would you be angry at the person who suggested it to you, or would you thank them for suggesting such a good series?

And while I'm at it, are there any English translations for the visual novel of Mashiro-Iro Symphony? I've been wondering if there were, would be nice.
