Aren't those podcasts just people who tried learning Japanese sucking each other off for getting slightly beyond absolute beginner level? Aren't they basically the same shit as what r/LearnJapanese and DJT do, except in the form of long-ass audio recordings that get uploaded to Youtube?
>Yo so I went through Tay Cum and R Tea Gay in 4 months, but first I learn kanos and then I did the other stuff. The reason why I'm special is because I watched like 4 live action movies instead of 3 and sat my ass through 2 doramas instead of the usual 1.
>Yeah I've never actually spoken Japanese even though I've lived in Nihon for 52 years working first as an English teacher, then as a PR assistant, and finally as a page designer but, bro, I can assure you I'm pretty close to "fluent"
