Somewhat, since it'd still follow the formula of my other stories going awful in the middle before recovering. Mainly Victoria. I can't say much since it'd be heavy spoilers due to much of the latter half of the plot being related to an event and a character that I've yet to introduce. The first segment had Victoria dressed as a general before the story fully started, after all.

I did give a hint at the end of the first chapter, though, where I purposely near-copypasted a fragment from the beginning of a certain story by Lovecraft, and ties with the DL's fear in the story I wrote before this one.

None of my other stories have smut, so they might be to your liking. Most still have 'love' as a primary drive though, if what you want is monsters caring about hobbies or tasks, or something else.

Then there's that half a million word long MGQ fanfiction I'm writing since years ago that turned into a grimdark political clusterfuck.
