After exhausting 10 hours of research spanning three days into audio interfaces and preamp articles and videos, I've finally come to a conclusion for my entry tier starter setup.
I'm ordering Motu M2 audio interface for about 199€ (the few places that have it all sold out so might not make in time for recording)
as well DBX 286s preamp for 140€ to boost my Shure SM7B mic's gain to proper levels.
Just thought sharing this shitty blog, because fuck I hate being relatively poor and having to spend so much time investigating products.
