I hate Remilia, and in the one page she's appeared so far, Writefriend managed to capture everything about her attitude in canon that annoys me. Let's see how this goes.

Hm, if Yukari is visiting Reimu tomorrow, there's a chance that Anon and Yamame might see her again, no kidnapping required.
I also thought of a dumb crackshot idea. After meeting Yuuka, what if Meiling eventually left Koumakan for Mugenkan, citing better working conditions? A radical concept for sure, but it doesn't necessarily have to be permanent or even go beyond her just considering doing so.
We know Orange is Meiling's sister in this story, and Orange has a tenuous connection to Yuuka in being from the same game (despite never interacting). Potentially, this could be a way to elaborate on the two's relation, further expand upon both EoSD and LLS characters, and perhaps even start a new arc.

If anything, I think this paves the way for developing her character within the story to better align with her canon, benign personality. It more or less shows her goal in the story is doable.
And to be honest, there's a good number of stuff from canon I either misremembered/misinterpreted or didn't know of that I learned from reading your story. I think you're good on that front.
