Sorry if this thread is low quality. For a native English speaker, how do you get better at Japanese. I have been doing my best to learn, using duolingo 5-6 hours a day for the past few days and am committed to practicing. However, I am unsure how to gain a thorough understanding of the language. What did you do to learn that helped you?
