Because "wubwubwubwub" shit is horribly dated and I just don't find the song catchy. The hook in the chorus isn't enough to make me keep listening to the stale verses.

Sweet Refrain would've been a fine album ender if they hadn't ripped it off of Level3 at the last minute to cash in on the song being a tie-in for a drama.

That's another thing- Natural ni Koshite/Nee were tie in songs but they were able to stand on their own more than Communication/Mirai no Museum/Sweet Refrain/Star Train/Tokimeki Lights and I predict Next Stage with You will be another lackluster tie in song.
