Oh, and I forgot to mention another thing. While the original game was notably for being anachronistic in its dialogue not reflecting the time periods, this fan disc takes it a lot further than the original translation did, particularly in regards to Ceren. That pulled me out a in a few places.
That aside, I can also say that while the original got me a bit misty-eyed at times, this time I actually cried. Reading through the scene of Jacopo carrying Morgana home while knowing how everything turns out in the end was heartbreaking.
