depending on your display, you likely won't need restore effect for 720p stuff, but needed for stuff below 720p, also don't forget you limit your fps for magpie if you're running display above 60/75 hz

for 720p stuff just upscale UL or upscale L + restore soft m seems to be enough, but still depends on your gpu and art style
