Anyways, /jp/ is great because the high power levels post here. You can make a thread about anything game/anime/2D related, and at least one person will know what you're talking about; we're the most knowledgeable about this stuff. Anywhere else in 4chan and your thread will simply drop to page 10.

The official /jp/ rules lack direction, but I feel that it brings more good than harm. Really, the only truly bad part is when the ignorant mods/janitors wander in here and try to enforce their rule of "what their lower power level ass thinks is acceptable" rather than "all Japanese things welcome". They make it painfully obvious that they're only casual /jp/ users. I can live with stuff like 3D idols being posted here. Just don't go and delete other worthy content.
