the trick is to assassinate shingen while defeating as few houses as possible so you can spend the least amount of time waiting for them to get recruited. you can beat the blitz with just the mouri+one eyed bonus and natori, probably.

also when one of the commanders eventually joins a house, you'll want to reload if you don't capture them after defeating their unit. the AI houses can sometimes spend like 40 turns before they'll bother replenishing them, and they won't show up again until then.

beat the blitz on turn 21 with this setup, got the last general on turn 46. that's on a 0-star playthrough though.
