>Fans like Hide argue they are just enjoying harmless fantasy. No child models or actors are involved, he says, so "there is no child abuse for creating sexual topic mangas".
This "controversy" should have ended here.

>This is what worries critics - the concern that even if no-one is harmed in the creation of sexually explicit manga, it might normalise, facilitate, or lead to an increased risk of sexual abuse.
..at which point we have to ban fucking anything that portrays illegal or otherwise immoral or damaging acts:
Nobody is ACTUALLY taking drugs in this movie, but it might normalise the action.
Theres no ACTUAL deaths in video games, but we cant facilitate murders.
We all know stealing is wrong, but if we let this book describe in detail how to commit a bank robbery then itll only encourage people to do it.

>The fascination with adolescent sexuality is "all about the power that men want to achieve, men who are tired of strong independent women
Haha oh god what. Fantasy is just fantasy. I dont want it to just be some sort of intangible version of reality -- if I can have or do whatever then damn right im gonna ride that shit out. Fantasy is where we go when we want to do things we cannot or would not do in reality in order to explore how it really makes us feel.

"Empowerments" be damned and fuck your feelings.
