Our existence helps to provide a useful service to normal people, but it's not a service that they want to use or acknowledge.

Observing a NEET helps to bring you back down to reality since you're seeing someone who lives without many luxuries, still lives in his parent's home, and yet he's even happier than they are. It helps remind the office worker who's clocking in 11 hours a day that he should slow down and savor the little things in life because all that money he's working for isn't going to make him happy.

Our services aren't wanted here though. That's probably why western Christian monks have to grow their own food while monks in other countries walk through town with their NEET buckets and get free food from everyone.
