Like, in a vacuum, that kind of yandere character is one I'd like, but obviously she ruins Higurashi.

I already wrote lengthy posts in the past about how much I hate Gousotsu, it ruins a happy ending from 15 years ago and even worse, the culprit is one of the previous main characters who FINALLY earned a happy life just going full yandere retard killing her own friends.
Like, Ryukishi should be put to sleep for writing this story.
It's the kind of fake scenario Lambda would write to screw with Battler.
And I hate lesbians.
But well, looking past all of that, I'll happily add Goutoko to my valhalla of insane characters that I self insert into.

Man and it would have all worked if Ryukishi gave her a good motive, hell, REVEAL THAT "2ND PERSONALITY" WAS LAMBDADELTA FORCEFULLY CONTROLLING HER BODY JUST TO MESS WITH RIKA BECAUSE SHE'S BERNKASTEL / TO CREATE BERNKASTEL in some fucked up time loop, then the ending episodes would be about saving Satoko from the Lambda possession, using the karma sword to sever the Master - Piece connection or something.
Ryukishi had so many outs to right this wrong.
