customs finally released my shipment.

looks like the customs just want to take a hold of the package for a while.

they are not really "illegal" but more "prohibited" or "banned". they wont bat an eye if its already in the country (unless you have plans of selling them) and it is already in your hands.
if they found out what you were trying to import, they wont hesitate to confiscate it.
other officers might even "charge" (accept bribe) you for exorbitant amount of cash just to release your shipment.
if they get a hold of it, they are most likely going to either destroy it or sell it at an auction. most likely the latter. this is one of the most corrupt departments in the philippines so they wont miss a chance to make money out of confiscated or unclaimed goods.
