Okay, here you go. This shit. Every one of Plachta's memories gives you two tasks to fulfil which give you points towards a 100 total, with the tasks giving varying amounts of points. Obviously some of these are easier to complete than others, but every single one of these story ideas that you have to complete to progress operates like this, and you are quite literally forced to grind the requirements until the bar finally finishes filling up, which towards the middle of the game starts taking way too damn long.
I suppose your next argument will be that for some reason it's not grinding or something.
