Academy City is a pretty shit place to live if you're not an esper. God this series grinds my gears with its powerlevel/magic the gathering esque bullshit.

At least in Touhou powers interact in an interesting way. A generally underpowered character can pull off a win if they play their cards right. I've seen better fights in doujinshi than that nonsense they try to call action in the To Aru series.
Realistically, I wouldn't waste my time with football, instead getting a job and/or investing my money better.
