This isn't even sexualized because it's a real thing that exists in Japan. If they were scared of culture differences, they should have edited out the scene entirely.

Look up "In the Night Kitchen". It was a children's book a lot of people were pissed off at because it committed the sin of having a boy's genitals visible in the illustrations. Librarians censored and even burned the books, and the author's editor wrote a wonderful letter in response:
