I don't fully understand what you mean by this, but to elaborate my own point:

Her reason for cutting her hair was literally that she hated her old self and wanted to change it, and the hair cut was part of cutting ties. This could mean a lot of things, and I guess there was always a sense that her self-esteem wasn't the greatest (she is/was likely even stricter with herself than she was with Mako/Miki etc.) but... I loved that old Naachan. Normally if someone hates what you love, that makes them an enemy, but here... here it's not that simple.

Mostly I just want to understand what she means better, and comfort her/strengthen her confidence if possible. But... well, depending where she goes from here there may come a point where I can't keep supporting her.
