If Zuumin became center? Probably nothing but that's the point. Adopting a pro-Techi stance instead could give them a chance to gain the much needed confidence boost. That's how crowd psychology works. You feel secure by associating with a faction that currently upholds the status quo.

Out of members that I mentioned only Nijika had been openly aspiring for center because of her past idol experience. Skills wise she could probably manage but her ponkotsu-chara, low HS sales and general lack of cool factor meant it that was a pipe dream.
As for Uemura, Koike, Fuyuka and Shiori. While they do possess some strong points, none of them are "all-rounder" enough to pull of the center's role. The way that Japanese society works is that you'd be better off not sticking out too much unless you are completely sure that you have what it takes to face the consequence. That is why it's better to just be a backdancer than to face an inevitable backlash like Zuumin did.

Pon had always been a package deal with Imaizumi. To force Zuumin to quit basically meant shooting herself in the foot.
Suzumon? THE right hand of Techi. Makes sense for her to be protective of Techi's position. Suzumon's involvement is possible, but less likely than my original pick.
Yone - literally too smart to get involved again, especially since she had already admitted to her previous behaviour against Neru.
Aoi - not found in the graduation photo which is Bunshun's main piece of evidence.
