To give my two cents on Seija's depiction in canon, it's because cheeky attitudes, doing bad things intentionally, those kinds of things are typically seen as being cute and bratty, making people find it very appealing to tame such a character. Because such wild personality traits are cute, it therefore makes it very, very appealing to see it contrast with such a girl showing her soft side, therefore people often romanticize and find attractive the idea of Seija in a domestic or romantic situations because she would never be caught in such a situation. Because it's so unlikely, the fantasy is therefore very, very, very appealing because of how improbably cute it'd be if Seija were your cute, bratty, cruel wife or girlfriend.

Just imagine for instance, hugging Seija before going to the fields to do farmwork and Seija giving you a completely disgusted and hate-filled look before vomiting on the floor from being exposed and the target of such a genuine, loving expression of admiration and adoration. Loving Seija unironically truly is the most sadistic thing one can do and it's no wonder people who love Seija are the scum of the Earth.
