The harassment from the other Tengu continued. Shipments for the Bunbun would be forgotten and only found when Aya went over to ask about them, you would continue to hear strange noises outside your home at night, and it always felt like the other Tengu were watching you if you went out with Aya. "They're definitely holding back" she says as she paces around the office. "If we're receiving this level of organized harassment, then someone higher in the ranks must have figured out about us. But they must just want you gone, as even they don't want to cause some kind of incident over a human. Ah, no offense" You wave her off, understanding what she meant. "But if they don't want trouble over this, can't we get Reimu or someone involved to stop them?" Aya shakes her head "They've been trying to make everything deniable, and even if we could get someone to look into this, they'd just find some way to turn up the heat. If only we had leverage" Aya slumps down in her chair and furrows her brow, trying to think of anything. Not being familiar enough with Tengu political structure or blackmail to give any advice, you tidy things up a bit to avoid siting in silence.

As you do this, Aya gets up and grunts to herself, seemingly not having any ideas either. "I guess all we can do for now is just continue on, just remember my offer okay? They'll leave you alone if you're not with me" Despite trying to be serious, there was a tinge of sadness in her voice that betrayed how she really felt about it. "Aya, I told you, I'm not going to leave" She huffs. "Geez, when did you get so stubborn?" With the problem at hand discussed, the both of you got back to work. Surely a life under the constant stress and pressure of the powerful trying to driver you away isn't much of a way to live, but you simply couldn't give up your new way of life now.
