one of my friends from many years ago had horribly broken english. he would hang out with me and my friends and over the years his english improved a lot. i wish i could do the same and just be a fly on the wall. i feel like it would be a more fun way to immerse but i swear its impossible to make Japanese friends online, they never talk.

Been going at it for 6 months. I had many days where I skipped new cards but I've been reviewing. I've learned around 1k words and did the based rtk and am just now getting to the point where every sentence I come across or hear I know many of the words that are being used. I cant quite understand the meaning often but it is motivating to see.
