One of my favorite things about John Wick is that they give him weaknesses. He's unbeatable in guns but lost the advantage twice just in the Red Circle when forced to do hand to hand.

Seems like she has a fear of not being able to live up to the expectations of her seniors. The boat is the over arching metaphor of the company with titans like Pekora and Marine and her inability to enter the boat represents her inner thoughts that she isn't worthy to stand with them yet.
