Ok, that is not exactly right. Don't spread misinformation. It is true that modern Japanese are the product of entirely east asian "Yayoi" farmers from Korea who, from 300BC onwards, displaced and mixed with the preceding "Jomon" population of Japan. However, the origin of the latter (who only contribute about 10% to the modern japanese genome) are not well understood. Even though they exhibited pseudo-caucasoid craniofacial features they are still very distinct from west eurasian populations. They were probably an isolated very ancient offshoot (it is not even clear if they can be assigned to west or east eurasian) that coevolved to look somewhat like modern Caucasoids.
