I can only answer a few questions.

Sukusuku is a sound for something developing quickly. In context it is nonsensical, but they're like sprouts or something.

They are unrelated to canon entirely.

Generally like their respective Touhou's hair as a tail. Keine is thought to be somewhat fluffy in Hakutaku form.

They do not have canon presence. In fanon they are just fluffy friends, somewhat curious, and enjoy standing on top of things.

I don't think they can talk.

They can emote with their eyebrows (to look more angry or cheerful) but not their mouths.
