She looked like she'd rather be somewhere else, or that everyone here would die instantly so that she could leave freely. I wasn't exactly sure about that last one, but it seemed like something she would think. Either way, I had someone who had been injured, and Eientei was certainly good at healing injuries. Yamame saw what I was looking at. "Oh - No, really, I'm fine." She insisted, but with the tears in her eyes, I didn't think the same. Gently, I asked her to please let Eientei double check, just for my own sake. "Oh, you're really overreacting, but...Fine. You know, you didn't kick up this much of a fuss when this happened to both of my teeth."

We'd only just met back then, so I wasn't really sure that she had a point. I grabbed Yamame's hand and began pulling her along. She protested slightly, but seemed more interesting in rubbing her sore tooth as if it would bring it back. After I shot her a glance that made her stop for the first three such occasions on the trip from Reimu's room to the other side of the courtyard, I finally had to insist that she stop messing around with the chipped tooth. "It hurts, though!" She complained to me. Sighing, I stopped just around the corner from a kappa stall selling some sort of rectangular box and asking if anyone wanted some. Since they hadn't bothered explaining what the 'some' was, I elected to ignore it. It was quieter here, and no one was paying attention to us. Sighing, I lifted Yamame's chin, then gently pulled her mouth open so I could see a bit better. I asked her quietly if it was sore. "Uh-huh." She tried to say, though she struggled with her mouth open. When I continued looking, she suddenly pushed up onto her tiptoes to kiss me on the lips quickly. "Shouldn't spend that long staring, you know. It's a little..." Embarrassing? "Arou- Er, Yeah. Embarrassing." She nodded very quickly. "Is it midnight yet?" The question was very innocent, but I had a feeling that there were some less-than-innocent intentions behind it. I shrugged nonchalantly and said that it probably wasn't long. That got a bit of a smile out of her, which did improve my mood just a little bit.

Shaking my head, I took her hand once more and began dragging her along to the stand that Reisen had set up. There, I found not just Reisen, but Eirin, Kaguya Houraisan, and Tewi. It seemed that the major players of Eientei had all decided to make an appearance tonight. "Welcome to our Eientei pop-up clinic." Reisen's monotone voice greeted me. "Capable of assisting in all cases, from the smallest scratch to wide-scale dismemberment." She didn't sound pleased to be here, but I'd never really heard her sound pleased to be anywhere, so I wasn't all that surprised. "How may we assist you with your traumatic injuries?"

"Inaba~" Kaguya Houraisan grasped Reisen's shoulders. "Lighten up, will you? This is supposed to be a party!" She shook the other rabbit back and forth. It seemed to have no discernible impact on Reisen's mood. At least, no positive impact. I thought I saw her mouth curl even further downward toward a scowl. "And we finally just got things sorted in the clinic!"

Reisen didn't respond, but she seemed very easy to read at that particular moment. I could almost imagine what she was saying. 'We?' She would say. 'I did all of that!' Just from everything I'd seen, I could already tell that Reisen was the kind of person who'd be forced to do all the menial tasks that no one else could be bothered to do. "Hey, Reisen, she's got a good point!" Tewi Inaba said cheerfully. "We - All did a great job, huh?" She gave a wide smile that made Reisen's eye twitch. "And - Oh, look! We've got people waiting and you're busy seething, you dumb lunar rabbit." Tewi pointed at Yamame and I.

At this point, Eirin seemed to take pity on us. "Princess, if you would wish to peruse the stands set up here, now would be a good time. Tewi can accompany you." The rabbit let out a sort of 'geh' noise but sighed and nodded regardless. I wondered if she was wishing she could stay and annoy Reisen some more.
Kaguya looked between Eirin, Reisen, Yamame, and finally at me. "Oh, alright. I think I saw Mokou in the crowd, but she's with that schoolteacher of hers. Hmm...Choices, choices..." She daintily stepped out from behind the stall. "Well, sitting in a stall for hours doesn't appeal to me, regardless. Shall we, Inaba?" She looked down at Tewi, who let out a long-suffering sigh, then took the proffered hand of the Lunarian Princess.
