Personally I made it a point to not buy anything like plushes, figures or games with my bank money. I only pay these with my paypal money which I earn through my side job, that way I'm sure it can't affect my well being and if I ever want to buy more then I have to work more, simply put. It has worked well so far.
Glancing at my history I seem to have bought for 250€ of Vocaloid plushies and figures so far.
