i'm currently watching the last episode of season 3 of yuru yuri. i'm crying because i'll never be able to experience anime like this ever again.

brilliant.

it took awhile because i was so overwhelmed by the amazing characters and story and had to take breaks and watch other amazing shows like hyouka but i finished season 1 of yuru yuri. so far i'd put it on the same level as berserk and hunter x hunter. it might be even better.

anyway, now i understand how someone can love a show like yuru yuri and hate shonen. there's just so much more to it. when they dressed up as animals in the finale i couldn't believe what i was experiencing. this is what animation was meant for. fuck that edgy "people think i'm another happy-go-lucky 'i love my friends' mc but i'm actually kind of a sociopath" shit or that "i'm the king of my species who was intended to take over the planet but i fell in love with a human and died playing a game i loved" corny ass shonen shit or that "you made me forget my dream...but did you really raise to the level of 'friend'? i'm gonna rape your girlfriend and kill you all" seinen shit.

ahahahahaha look how she's dressed up. god what a funny show. yuru yuri is so good that i really can't handle the overwhelming feelings i get while watching it so i might move on to something else. but forget me. please everyone drop what you're doing and watch yuru yuri.
