Lancer's probably the most balanced class (with 4th and 5th Lancers being among the most balanced Servants EVER), combining speed, range, and power (for 4th/5th, ideal offense+defense combo/prana efficiency as well as Rune use).

Only downside?
They get douchebag Masters.
