Like the very first time Battler meets Beatrice, she cackles and forces him to watch all of his cousins get turned into goo and burgermeat in front of him and die incredibly painfully and then forces him into a mind torture game. What the fuck was the plan here? I feel like people just forget how horrifically evil Beatrice was in Umineko at the beginning because of how cute she is later on, but she's actually just a fucking terrible person for literally no reason as far as I know.
