Off topic but I randomly came across a youtube video of a fat black guy singing in Japanese under Universal Music Japan. After some research apparently he was born and raised in California, became a Japanophile at 12 and moved to Tokyo at 24 and he is one of the biggest artists in Japan and he just debuted last year, even doing a song with Seiko Matsuda(arguably the biggest Japanese idol of all time) even before he released his debut album. This dude even got on the biggest Japanese special of the year where only the biggest names play and where Babymetal got snubbed! Where am I going with this? I just remember someone said Japanese absolutely hate foreigners and especially black people and while I think that's exaggerated I am pretty surprised about this even though he is a really good singer.
