-The Summer 2019 Event, "European Front Counterattack Operation, Commence! Operation Shingle", is scheduled to start on August 30. It will be a small-scale event and will take place in Europe again. A Pasta light cruiser with a long name will be implemented. A new island chink will also be drawing a new shipgirl. E-1 will be "Brest Defense Operation", E-2 "Through the Gibraltar", and E-3 "Commence! Operation Shingle".

-The June ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment are the Shipborne Model Type 4 20cm Anti-ground Rocket Launcher, the Type 2 12cm Mortar Kai, and the Type 2 12cm Mortar Kai (Concentrated Deployment).
-Kamikaze and Asakaze are available as drops from 1-4 for a limited time.
-New expeditions have been implemented. The expedition UI has been updated to show ship silhouettes. Monthly and combat expeditions have been implemented. Monthly expeditions can only be completed once and will reset on the 15th of every month.
-It is now possible to upgrade the T2 12cm Mortar Kai to the concentrated deployment version and improve the 5inch single gun Mk. 30 through Akashi's arsenal.
-The T96 Kai asw bug has been fixed.
-4 new quests have been implemented.
-New swimsuit and summer dress CGs have been implemented for Johnston and Yukikaze. Yukata mode CGs have returned. It is now possible to move the position of the secretary ship. The library has been updated.
-Gotland will receive a second remodel at some point to re-turn her to a seaplane cruiser. Yahagi will receive a Kai-II at some point in the future. The rest of the Kongou-class will receive further remodels eventually. Shigure will also receive a further remodel in the future.
-The 2019 calendar hints at several new destroyers.
-More Fletchers will be implemented in the future, some illustrated by ZECO. Matsu-class from the Type D Destroyers are being prepared for the 7th year of KanColle.
