>The 10mm Voigtlander is about $1,000. It is actually wider (as in a wider field of view) than the 8mm Samyang because it is for full frame sensors.
The 8mm Samyang is 8mm on a 35mm sensor size equivalent, on APS-C the Samyang is 12mm and the Voigtlander is 15mm.

That being said the Samyang has pretty terrible vignetting on full frame and the Voigtlander is objectively a better lens in every measurable quality.
