I just had a passing thought... what do the Japanese do with their randoseru after elementary school? Do they ditch them because they don't want to be associated with elementary school anymore or do they use them long after they graduate?

What do you think of when you see this?

It pisses me off that these things cost from ¥25000 to ¥60000. The companies that make these little backpacks for the elementary school children capitalize on the fact that the kids will be ostracized for standing out, forcing the parents to buy a product that will keep their children from being the nail that hasn't been pounded in yet.

In addition, what happens when the kid loses his/her backpack? Another ¥60000 gone! Fuck me in the ass!
