How much can you hate a fictional character before you're on crazy territory?

I first thought it was just fun, lying back, closing my eyes and imagining how I peel the many layers of her skin one by one, listening to her screams and curses that become less defiant and more desperate with every epidermal inch I pull off. I imagined boiling her limbs one by one until they were white and useless and her screams had turned into an incoherent gargle. I imagined fucking her with a knife until there was nothing left to fuck, and I knew peace. It was all just for fun, to exact a revenge that she well deserved but the writers didn't see fit to give her. If I couldn't correct this injustice in the real world, I might at least do it in my imagination.

But then I started spending more time on this little diversion of mine, and it began supplanting my so-called "real" hobbies. And because I dwell so much on it during the day, these little fantasies have gradually taken over my dreams too.

Today I didn't go to work because I wanted to devote the entire day to her. Am I going nuts, maybe?
