Ai was always way too self conscious, she was angry that she couldn't be a big talker like Rika or the other members so she became withdrawn. Most of her Hello Morning characters generally weren't that great. But she excused because she is such a good singer.

I think the prolonged Yossie and Miki phased may have really done a number on the current lineup. Although Koharu shot through that period as was able to start her brief successful solo career but she seems stuck in between stages now.
But I think at least some of us can agree that Shige's personality is playing out rather well across the different appearances of late.

Oh she does but her personality was formulated based on this factor, I'm not hating on her but its like the first born who gets all the toys in a way.

I always had weird suspicions in why they changed the format for their next appearance there, I think it was a Tsunku move.
