I went Osu (years ago, with about a day of playtime total) -> DJ Max Portable 2 -> Stepmania/Etterna for a month -> Break -> IIDX -> rest of the games
Genuinely have no regrets, games are super fun, music's great and the community (other than this reddit-tier shithole) is really nice and helpful.
