They love their foreign fans because they're a meme group driven by memes appealing to foreigners who think of Japan as some whacky country where everybody buys panties from vending machines and reads tentacle rape doujins.

It's the same with Kyary. Perfume are more "serious" so there's less of that"whoa-hoahhhhh japan is so whacky look at this" appeal to them. I mean you could point at Monochrome Effect or Linear Motor Girl and compare it to some Kyary memeshit video but they're fairly grounded now.

I guess you could almost call them boring.
