From what I see, it has the same problem as Index, they're both too monotonous and repetitive. Even though the setting allows them to easily add in some insane bullshit right at the drop of a hat, said bullshit will only matter at that particular volume and will never intersect with any other bullshit from the earlier or later volumes or else. It's a real damn shame, we have Rakia, Melen, Telskyura, etc. to play with, but shit will always start and end with Orario. It's rather concerning since the final quest/battle with the Black Dragon is supposed to happen outside of the dungeon, but we still know jackshit about the geopolitical conditions in other countries (in mainline Danmachi, that is). Heck, there are still a lot of districts in Orario that haven't been explored at all.

Not necessarily better per se, just significantly edgier and darker (and with more character development). They're more like long-overdue supplementary material that floats between the states of canon and non-canon.

Assuming what Kaidou said to be true, Nemesis is the general winner, though Juliet is the real-life winner. IIRC, he once said to think of the romance in Dendro like a VN with flags and routes etc.
Well, the girls in Dendro don't feel like girls anyway, since none of them can be damsels in distress. It's actually one of the reasons why Crow Record got canned, they're too fightsexual.
