You haven't learned Japanese yet? I've learned Japanese, read Mahoyo, F/E, F/E CCC, FGO, and couple of fate light novels. I am about to replay FSN.

Am I in for a disappointment on how much Nasu's writing became better compared to his old days? Or for a pleasant surprise that I never got to have?
