At what point do regular people just stop what they are doing and watch you play? I've started to play iidx for 2 months when a group of regular 20 year olds were watching me play. I felt like a circus freak, and I can't even hear or see what they are doing behind me. Does the anxiety go away eventually?

I'm still starting out with music games, and I didn't even know there was volume etiquette. I'm very much guilty of playing iidx Max volume with the compressor eq enabled for max bass. I like to play with the groove, and it sounds really good too. I guess that explains why I kept getting death stares from the other players when I went up to play on Saturday.
